Workspace setup: Create a new workspace

Creating a new workspace from an existing GitHub repo created in Gitpod.

Creating a new workspace

  1. Log into CodeAnywhere with your GitHub account.

  2. On your Dashboard, click on the New Workspace button

  3. Paste in the repo URL you copied from GitHub

    Paste the URL into the input box for Create from your project repository

  4. Click Create

  5. Wait for the workspace to open. This can take a few minutes.

Your workspace is now ready to use. When you want to return to this project, you can find it in your CodeAnywhere Dashboard. You should only create 1 workspace per project.

Restart your existing workspace by clicking the workspace URL
